About the role#
The Foth Companies is seeking an Environmental Science Intern to join the Duluth office for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site internship designed to provide hands-on experience in the environmental services industry. You will work alongside staff geologists and project managers to support geology, hydrogeology, and surface water hydrology projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform environmental field work in coordination with contractors, clients, and internal staff.
- Travel to various project sites to conduct environmental sampling, geologic logging, and field documentation.
- Assist with aquifer testing, surface water discharge gauging, surveying, and contractor oversight.
- Analyze hydrologic and hydrogeologic data.
- Manage geologic and environmental data sets.
- Complete environmental reporting tasks as part of the project team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
