About the role#
This is a hands-on internship for Summer 2027. You will join our team to work on projects that strengthen Great Lakes ports, harbors, navigation systems, and waterfront facilities. You will gain practical experience in inspections, surveying, and design while working alongside experienced engineers.
What you'll do#
- Work with team members on deliverables for dredging, environmental permitting, and civil and coastal engineering projects.
- Conduct topographic and hydrographic surveys, plus 3D drone scans, with certified team members.
- Assist with structural inspections and construction oversight.
- Support design tasks using AutoCAD.
- Prepare local, state, and federal permit documents.
- Assist with data management and report preparation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a similar field from an ABET-accredited program.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Positions are located on-site in Green Bay, Wisconsin, or Madison, Wisconsin.
