    About the role#

    Kimley-Horn is hiring engineering students to join our Albuquerque, New Mexico office. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship with a rolling start date.

    What you'll do#

    You will work on pre-construction civil engineering tasks including design, planning, modification, analysis, and permitting. You will use technical software to produce and quality check deliverables for clients. You will assist project managers, solve technical problems, and collaborate with team members across different disciplines. You will also learn to use industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS. Additionally, you will build your knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations along with our internal project standards.

    What you'll need#

    You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree from an ABET accredited program. Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.

    This position is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is an on-site role. We do not provide sponsorship for this position.
