About the role#
Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering students for a full-time, on-site internship in the Albuquerque, New Mexico office. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering design and project analysis.
What you'll do#
- Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and perform quality control on client deliverables.
- Contribute to pre-construction design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for projects of varying size and scope.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to support project goals.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal standards and procedures.
- Gain proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Bachelor or Master degree program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.
