About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring engineering students for a Summer 2027 internship in Philadelphia. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our office.
What you'll do#
You will work on pre-construction civil engineering design and planning. Your daily tasks include using technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-check deliverables. You will assist project managers with complex problems and collaborate with your team to support project goals. You will also learn to navigate federal, state, and local regulations while gaining proficiency in industry software like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
You must be currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree from an ABET-accredited program. We accept students from the following majors:
- Civil Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Biological, Biosystems, or Agricultural Engineering
- Engineering Technology
