About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to gain practical experience in the field. This role provides exposure to real-world projects and engineering practices through hands-on work. You will assist with daily tasks, data collection, and project documentation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers on design work, testing, data analysis, and documentation.
- Collect data from field work, experiments, or simulations.
- Analyze data to draw conclusions.
- Manage administrative tasks such as organizing files, maintaining records, and scheduling meetings.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute input to ongoing projects.
- Develop technical skills through observation and hands-on practice.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles, software, and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional approach and a solid work ethic.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is on-site at any of our offices in San Antonio, Houston, Farmersville, Dallas, Austin, Midland, or Fort Worth, Texas.
- Hiring occurs on a rolling basis.
