About the role#
Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering students to join the team in Greenville, South Carolina. This is a full-time, on-site internship position.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for projects of varying size and scope.
- Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and perform quality control on deliverables.
- Solve complex problems while assisting project managers and collaborating across disciplines.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal and client-specific practices and standards.
- Gain proficiency in discipline-specific software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited bachelor or master degree program.
- Academic background in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
