About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for our Jupiter, Florida office for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. You will work alongside our team to support civil engineering projects from the planning phase through pre-construction.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and quality control project deliverables.
- Assist with pre-construction design, planning, permitting, and analysis for various projects.
- Solve technical problems and support project managers.
- Work with different disciplines to help execute project goals.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations along with our internal procedures.
- Gain experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Your major is Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
