About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship position for current or recent HNTB interns. You will work on-site in Salt Lake City as part of our civil engineering team. This is a full-time, paid role.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Help produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications.
- Perform research, development, and design work in partnership with the project team.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs to support project execution.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- You must be a current or recent HNTB intern to qualify for this role.

- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
