About the role#
This internship provides a hands-on experience within Kiewit Business Services. You will participate in key roles and functions that support our construction operations. The position is based in La Vista, Nebraska, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Maintain records related to job progress, costs, and material usage.
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of job segments.
- Investigate reported incidents or problems and recommend solutions.
- Review plans and specifications to determine material requirements and pricing.
- Work with suppliers to manage and expedite the delivery of materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program for Business Administration or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time from May through August.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to ethics, integrity, and safety.
- Ability to access all areas of a construction site in various climates and environments.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship located in La Vista, Nebraska.
- You must be able to work during normal operating hours and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
