About the role#
As a People Operations Intern, you will collaborate with the People & Culture Team to support essential administrative functions. This role involves working closely with the People Operations Manager to manage employee onboarding, payroll administration, and program scheduling. You will gain exposure to organizational business operations while participating in seasonal intern cohorts.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison during the onboarding process to foster employee confidence.
- Assist in payroll data entry and maintenance to ensure accuracy.
- Support scheduling efforts by finding coverage for programs and maintaining platform data.
- Collaborate with the People Operations Manager to optimize staffing models and program placements.
- Support the monthly reporting process by tracking data for shifts worked and staff absences.
What you'll need#
- Current or recent studies in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Psychology.
- Strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 25 to 35 hours per week.
- Terms: Fall 2026, Winter 2027, or Summer 2027.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, though class credit is available.
