About the role#
The Photography & Videography Intern joins the Marketing team to capture and curate content that highlights youth participation in sports and enrichment programs. This role involves traveling to various school and community sites across New York City to document special events and daily activities. You will report to the Marketing Coordinator and collaborate with the department to maintain a high-quality visual library.
What you'll do#
- Travel between various program sites in New York City to act as a brand ambassador.
- Capture photos and videos of special events, showcases, and everyday activities.
- Edit media to ensure high quality before uploading and sorting files on the company platform.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to ensure content is captured and delivered promptly.
- Participate in intern cohort discussions, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- A portfolio demonstrating your photography and videography work.
- An understanding of the types of visual content required for marketing purposes.
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
- Strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Preferred: Ownership of a DSLR camera (quality phone cameras are also acceptable).
- Relevant academic background in Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or Art.

- Status: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, though a completion bonus is available. Class credit can be provided where applicable.
