About the role#
As a CMC Analytical Co-op, you will join the Analytical Development team to support the characterization of Fc-fusion molecules. You will participate in assay development and gain hands-on experience with laboratory techniques used in biotechnology research.
What you'll do#
- Develop, optimize, and test ELISA, cell-based assays, and separation methods like chromatography and electrophoresis.
- Assist with routine lab tasks, including cell culture for potency assay development.
- Conduct analytical testing on recombinant proteins and perform data analysis.
- Document all experimental results in electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Summarize and present progress on your assigned work.
- Support laboratory operations by ordering and receiving reagents and samples.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program or higher.
- A major in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Prior internship or co-op experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Lexington, Massachusetts.
- The role is full-time and paid with a base hourly rate between $28 and $32.
- This is a rolling term position.
