About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to formulation and process development projects within the PDM team. You will support the development of solid oral dosage forms, as well as formulations for injection or inhalation. This role involves working under general supervision to address chemistry and engineering challenges. Two positions are available for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Execute laboratory experiments and maintain an electronic notebook to record data and observations.
- Conduct literature reviews to guide experimental design and support your findings.
- Analyze data and draw scientifically supported conclusions.
- Organize and summarize data to present to the team periodically.
- Deliver a final presentation on your work at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program, with plans to continue enrollment in the Fall semester.
- Pursuing a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to 10 to 12 consecutive weeks of full-time work between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
