About the role#
Keros Therapeutics is hiring a Research Associate Co-Op to join our preclinical research team in Lexington, Massachusetts. This role focuses on osteoimmunology and supports our work on TGF-beta signaling pathways. You will gain hands-on experience in a laboratory setting while working alongside our scientists to advance our research pipeline.
What you'll do#
- Perform in vitro and ex vivo laboratory research, including cell culture, RNA isolation, and gene expression analysis.
- Run assays like Western blot and ELISA to assess therapeutic activity.
- Conduct antibody staining and flow cytometric analysis of bone marrow stem cells.
- Document your experimental work clearly and summarize your findings in study reports.
- Attend cross-functional team meetings to share data and updates.
What you'll need#
- You are a current undergraduate or graduate student in biology, biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in cell culture and sterile technique.
- Familiarity with molecular biology methods such as RNA extraction, qRT-PCR, Western blot, and ELISA.
- Experience with antibody staining and flow cytometry, or a strong willingness to learn these techniques.

- Location: Lexington, Massachusetts.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
