About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to perform organic synthesis for research projects, focusing on hit to lead or lead optimization against novel drug targets. You may also contribute to library synthesis of compounds for research collections or collaborative projects with partner companies. You will report to the Department Director or other assigned staff.
What you'll do#
- Perform organic synthesis for various research projects.
- Contribute to library synthesis for compound collections.
- Collaborate on research projects with partner companies.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Complete other similar or related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college pursuing a major in Biology, Chemistry, or another science-based field.
- Ability to receive academic credit for this internship.
- Hands-on experience in multi-step organic synthesis, purification, and structural characterization.
- Knowledge of modern chromatographic techniques, including flash chromatography, preparative scale HPLC, and LCMS.
- Experience with parallel synthesis or solid phase chemistry.

- This position is located in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
- This is an on-site role that requires daily attendance at the Hamilton office.
