About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to drug product strategies for subcutaneous delivery of biologic therapies. You will work within the Pre-Pivotal Biologics Formulation and Process Development team to support the development of new treatments. The program includes professional development presentations, networking activities, and community volunteer programs.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate strategies for high-dose subcutaneous delivery of biologics.
- Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing formulation and process development.
- Design and develop high-dose biologic formulations.
- Perform analytical characterization to assess formulation compatibility, injectability, stability, and platform feasibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize process parameters and perform device characterization studies.
- Present final project work at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States now and in the future.
- Preferred fields of study include Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or Biomedical Engineering, with a preference for MS or PhD candidates.
