About the role#
KENT Worldwide is looking for a Data Support Analyst Intern to join our team in Muscatine, Iowa. You will support our Sales Support Specialist Intern program by managing data, building reports, and coordinating operations. You will work alongside sales leaders and other interns to track customer activity and turn data into insights. This position provides hands-on experience in sales operations, CRM reporting, and business analytics.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and analytical support for the Sales Support Specialist Intern program.
- Compile, clean, and maintain data regarding customer visits, training sessions, and engagement.
- Create recurring and ad-hoc reports to track intern activity, customer reach, and program effectiveness.
- Ensure CRM data entry accuracy by reviewing submissions and identifying gaps.
- Build dashboards and summary reports for National Account and Regional Sales Managers.
- Analyze trends related to customer training participation, feedback, and opportunity indicators.
- Assist with scheduling, resource tracking, and documentation for intern field activity.
- Maintain organized records for sales initiatives and program outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Represent KENT Worldwide professionally in all communications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data analysis, reporting, and sales operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Comfort working with CRM systems or databases.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- An analytical mindset.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
