About the role#
KENT WORLDWIDE is looking for a Division Engineer Intern to join the Grain Processing Corporation team in Washington, Indiana. This role provides technical and engineering support to the Operations division. You will work directly with operations staff to troubleshoot process issues and manage projects from start to finish.
What you'll do#
- Manage capital and expense projects from the initial concept through production.
- Develop training documentation for maintenance and operators.
- Monitor equipment downtime records to identify and address performance issues.
- Calculate material balances when processes change.
- Create project plans, timelines, and cost estimates for process improvements.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering.
- Advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
- Previous experience in a corn wet milling or similar industrial process is a plus.
- Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or operations environment is strongly preferred.

- This is an on-site internship located in Washington, Indiana.
- The position is full-time and paid.
- Limited travel up to 10% may be required for training or business needs.
