About the role#
KENT WORLDWIDE is offering a paid Sales Internship for the summer of 2027. You will work within the Starch Sales department to learn our sales process, products, and industry standards. This role involves direct interaction with customers and prospects to provide insights on market developments. You will work from our office in Muscatine, Iowa.
What you'll do#
- Initiate and maintain contact with prospects and customers using CRM and Seamless AI tools.
- Build customer relationships and learn negotiation tactics alongside our sales team.
- Travel with sales representatives to their territories to gain hands-on industry experience.
- Manage sales records and generate leads using Dynamics 360 CRM, Power BI, and Seamless AI.
- Present a summary of your projects and key findings to company stakeholders at the end of the term.
- Attend meetings and events to learn about our products and sales operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
- A genuine interest in sales and building professional relationships.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on collaboration and customer needs.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt and take initiative as a proactive learner.
