Join SFE's Business Development team for a hands-on internship where you'll gain real-world experience in sales, marketing, and business growth. You'll partner with regional teams to research prospective clients, generate and qualify leads, uncover new business opportunities, support marketing projects, and contribute to RFP (Request for Proposal) development. This internship offers exposure to the full business development process—from identifying prospective clients and researching market opportunities to understanding client needs and supporting proposals that help win new business. You'll also gain insight into business operations, marketing strategies, and the regulated K-12 foodservice industry while working on projects that directly support SFE's growth. You Will: - Aid sales team in achieving planned revenue growth and delivering mutual profitability for SFE and school district partners. - Print, produce, purchase, and ship promo items and marketing materials for tradeshows/sales endeavors. - Maintain adequate par levels of marketing materials/equipment. - Collaborate with several teams to ensure all proposal deadlines are met. Manage sales activities through CRM software (Salesforce). Build reports, dashboards, create record pages and fields, and manage the pipeline report. - Help schedule and organization of presentations, pre-bid conferences and conference calls. - Support the proposal production and management process. - Other duties, as assigned. You Have: - Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business/Communication - Computer skills: MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher InDesign and CRM experience preferred - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently - Excellent communication and presentation skills Compensation: $.22/hr.
