About the role#
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for our 2027 Kickstart Internship Program in Federal Way, Washington. This full-time, paid position offers the chance to work on projects related to water resources, water quality, treatment, and pipeline design. You will receive mentorship and professional development while collaborating with our teams and clients.
What you'll do#
- Apply academic skills and calculations to real-world project tasks.
- Manage ongoing projects and coordinate with team members and clients.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Conduct site visits to support project needs.
- Prepare technical reports, design plans, and project calculations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year at an accredited engineering program.
Location & details#
- Location: Federal Way, Washington.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: This position follows a hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
