About the role#
Keeley Companies is seeking Estimating Interns to join our Operations Groups for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Fargo, North Dakota.
What you'll do#
- Assist Vice Presidents, Project Managers, and Project Engineers in preparing cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Communicate with subcontractors to gather and analyze bids to ensure accurate pricing.
- Review and update project timelines by integrating estimates with overall project schedules.
- Attend project meetings and provide insights on cost implications and budget considerations.
- Complete assigned estimating tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Learn and strictly adhere to safety standards and policies throughout the estimating process.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong listening skills and a high aptitude for learning.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- A desire to learn multiple tasks, solve problems, and take initiative.
