Summer 2027 Construction Estimating Internship

About the role#

Keeley Companies is seeking Estimating Interns for the Summer 2027 term to join the Operations Groups. This full-time, paid internship provides hands-on experience in construction cost estimation and project planning.

What you'll do#

• Assist Vice Presidents, Project Managers, and Project Engineers in preparing cost estimates for various construction projects.
• Communicate with subcontractors to collect and analyze bids for accurate pricing.
• Review and update project timelines by integrating estimates into overall schedules.
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights on budget considerations and cost implications.
• Complete assigned estimating tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Adhere to established safety standards and policies throughout the estimating process.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• High aptitude for learning and an interest in managing multiple tasks.
• Intuitive listening skills and a proactive approach to asking questions.
• Candidates must complete a selection assessment and a pre-employment drug screen.
