About the role#
The 2027 Commercial & Investment Bank Risk Management Full-Time Analyst Program is a comprehensive opportunity to join a global financial institution. The program begins with four weeks of intensive training covering valuation analytics, accounting, corporate finance, economics, and risk analysis. Analysts will gain practical experience through placements in teams such as Credit Risk, Market Risk, and the Chief Investment Office, Treasury and Corporate (CTC) Risk team. This is a full-time, on-site role with hiring occurring on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of risk management within a premier global investment bank.
- Develop skills to thoroughly assess and evaluate various risk types.
- Perform analysis and due diligence on counterparties and products.
- Monitor risk sensitivities across individual counterparties and the broader portfolio.
- Build financial models and contribute to analytical exercises in response to global events.
- Prepare reports outlining recommendations for senior management and assist in evaluating market moves that could cause losses to the firm.
- Uphold integrity and transparency when interacting with regulators, clients, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate across the organization to proactively solve problems and address inquiries.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a U.S. college or university with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027 (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Fluency in English.
- Coursework in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is considered a plus.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This program does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship.
