About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Nashua, New Hampshire. You will join the Furnish Your Future Intern Development Program to learn the fundamentals of retail leadership. You will work on-site and gain exposure to the daily operations of a furniture showroom. Please note that this role requires travel to various locations and includes some weekend shifts.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside store managers and leadership teams to learn about retail operations.
- Gain hands-on experience in customer service, team development, sales performance, staffing, and business execution.
- Participate in Intern Insights to network with leaders across the organization.
- Attend professional development workshops to build your leadership skills.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising college junior or senior.
- Enrollment in a degree program for Business Administration, Retail, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve problems and think critically.
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Prior experience in customer service, retail, or a supervisory role is a plus.
