About the role#
As a Junior P&PD Engineer Co-op, you will support engineering activities at the Mississauga Plant 1 facility. You will focus on the development of new and existing product lines. This position requires you to apply resources and data analysis to resolve recurring issues.
What you'll do#
- Participate in process development, part development, and equipment selection or installation.
- Recommend modifications to tooling, plant equipment, and prototypes to meet performance and manufacturing requirements.
- Support production team meetings to help resolve issues related to quality, service, operations, and health and safety.
- Act as a technical resource for daily assignments involving processes, products, and equipment.
- Assist in the development of standardized work.
- Communicate regularly with the production department and other internal teams to share progress on technical projects.
- Work in compliance with company quality and environmental health and safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your third or fourth year of a Manufacturing Engineering program.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work in a results-oriented and customer-focused environment.
- A background in automotive or similar manufacturing settings is preferred.

- This is an on-site position based in Mississauga, Ontario.
- The role is full-time and paid.
- This is a rolling co-op term.
