About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work as an Industrial Engineering Intern at our Boisbriand facility. You will support the Project Manager on various improvement projects, help integrate new production equipment, and contribute to workplace health and safety activities. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the implementation of efficient and functional work cells and establish supporting work methods.
- Use LEAN tools to identify opportunities and propose improvements to production processes.
- Create detailed drawings including dimensions, views, and other necessary production data.
- Participate in the study and implementation of quality best practices across office and manufacturing environments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- A college diploma (DEC) in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is considered an asset.
- Hands-on experience with LEAN tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SolidWorks.
- A good understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Strong French communication skills, both written and verbal.
