About the role#
Signify is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for our Boisbriand facility. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site to support our production processes and engineering team.
What you'll do#
- Create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing, including dimensions and specific views.
- Develop drawings for tooling, molds, and factory layouts.
- Update and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for product manufacturing.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Department to modify drawings as needed.
- Run time and motion studies to refine production methods and improve planning tools.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- Practical experience using 3D modeling software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks.
- Fluent French communication skills, both written and verbal.
