About the role#
This Software Engineering Co-Op position supports the Research and Advanced Development team. You will focus on edge analytics for power solutions and IoT electronics circuits. This is a full-time, paid position based in Burnaby, British Columbia.
What you'll do#
- Create and evaluate digital twin models.
- Build and maintain data analysis scripts and dashboards.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to find trends and insights.
- Write test plans and conduct detailed testing.
- Document data models, code, and analysis results.
- Assist with software development tasks, including work on apps, APIs, and embedded software.
- Work alongside team members to support project goals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering program.
- Basic knowledge of C, C#, Python, and SQL.
- Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to turn data insights into recommendations.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3 is an asset.
- Experience with unit or automated testing concepts is an asset.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 CAD per hour.
