About the role#
This internship provides an early career opportunity within the JLL Capital Markets group. You will work alongside analysts to support investments and acquisitions while gaining insight into the commercial real estate industry. This role involves research, writing, and data analysis to help the team provide strategic advice to clients.
What you'll do#
- Assist with market research by obtaining and analyzing statistics, demographics, traffic counts, and other market information.
- Support the valuation of current and proposed listings using Argus and Excel.
- Review and summarize leases by preparing lease abstracts.
- Assist in the due diligence process for transactions.
- Help design and prepare marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums, by creating charts and graphics.
- Provide general assistance to the team by gathering data on rent rolls, demographics, and tenant profiles.
What you'll need#
- Currently a college or university junior, graduating in Summer 2028.
- Permanent US work authorization.
- Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
