About the role#
This internship provides an early career opportunity within the JLL Capital Markets group. You will work alongside analysts to support investments and acquisitions while gaining insight into the commercial real estate industry. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Assist with market research by gathering and analyzing information, demographics, and traffic counts.
- Support the valuation of listings using Argus and Excel.
- Review and summarize leases to create lease abstracts.
- Help with the due diligence process for transactions.
- Design and prepare marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums.
- Gather data on rent rolls and tenant profiles to assist the team.
What you'll need#
- Current college or university junior status, graduating in Summer 2028.
- Permanent US work authorization.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a detail-oriented approach.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
