About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to start a career in the JLL Capital Markets group. You will work alongside analysts to support investments and acquisitions. The role offers insight into commercial real estate through research, writing, and financial analysis.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and write market research by obtaining and analyzing statistics, demographics, traffic counts, and market information.
- Support the valuation of current and proposed listings using Argus and Excel.
- Review and summarize leases by preparing lease abstracts.
- Assist in the due diligence process for transactions.
- Design and prepare marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums, by creating charts and graphics.
- Gather data on rent rolls, demographics, and tenant profiles to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently a college or university junior, graduating in Summer 2028.
- Permanent US work authorization.
- Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining a team-player attitude.
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is preferred.
