About the role#
This internship with the JLL Capital Markets group provides insight into the commercial real estate industry. You will work alongside analysts to support investments and acquisitions. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Charlotte.
What you'll do#
- Write market research by analyzing statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
- Support the valuation of listings using Argus and Excel.
- Prepare lease abstracts to summarize lease agreements.
- Assist with the due diligence process for transactions.
- Create charts and graphics for marketing materials like teasers and offering memorandums.
- Gather data on rent rolls and tenant profiles to assist the team.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a college or university junior graduating in Summer 2028.
- You are pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- You have permanent US work authorization. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
- You have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- You possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- You can work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is preferred.
