About the role#
The Work Study Student position provides currently enrolled university students with part-time employment opportunities. This role supports departmental operations while helping you build professional skills. You will balance your work responsibilities with your academic commitments.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the day to day maintenance and operations of your assigned department.
- Handle clerical functions including answering phones, filing, scheduling, and organizing.
- Provide front-line customer service to visitors and staff.
- Support office tasks, events, and programs.
- Perform data entry and provide light research assistance.
- Offer technology support as needed.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment as a university student.
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- Proficiency in frequent keyboard use and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
