About the role#
The Strategic Planning & Business Analytics Intern supports the Strategic Planning & Analytics department at Jackson EMC. This role involves working on data projects, assisting with internal reporting, and helping to develop strategic resources. You will work directly with analysts to maintain dashboards and prepare communications for the team.
What you'll do#
- Support the Strategic Planning & Analytics department with daily tasks and special projects.
- Organize, update, and generate weekly and monthly reports.
- Work with the Business Intelligence Analyst to import and update data into departmental dashboards.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Planning Analyst to update existing resources and create new ones.
- Develop articles and presentations to communicate findings.
- Assist internal customers and gather data as directed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with computer systems and software applications.
- A basic working knowledge of statistical and quantitative analysis.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
