About the role#
Jackson EMC is hiring a Warehouse Intern for our Lawrenceville district. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role for current high school students. You will support the department with clerical tasks, record keeping, and administrative assistance.
What you'll do#
- Use accounting software to enter, review, audit, and track data related to work orders and warehouse materials.
- Prepare and update documents, including database records, typing, mailing, and merging files.
- Manage office supplies and keep accurate logs of equipment maintenance.
- Create monthly reports.
- Assist the team during emergency outages.
- Participate in company meetings and follow safety protocols.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment and attendance at a partnering high school.
- Enrollment in your school's work study program with approval from your program administrator.
- A basic working knowledge of computer systems, finance, accounting, or risk management practices.
- Ability to handle tasks such as scanning, filing, data entry, and reconciling balance sheets.
