About the role#
This is a hands-on internship supporting the Mechanical Test Lab at J.W. Speaker Corporation. You will work on-site in Germantown, Wisconsin, in a role that balances lab work with office tasks. This position is paid and requires a year-round commitment.
What you'll do#
- Perform product testing.
- Document and standardize internal processes.
- Update and maintain testing equipment, such as the spray chamber, wind tunnel, dust chamber, and vibration shakers.
- Complete minor CAD work for concept designs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a mechanical or industrial engineering degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Sophomore status is preferred, though all students are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work year-round, typically 8 to 12 hours per week during the school year and full-time during breaks and summer.
