About the role#
As an IT Helpdesk Intern, you will work on real projects that impact our business operations. This role involves a mix of technical support, data analysis, and documentation. You will gain experience in a professional environment while working with our IT team.
What you'll do#
- Analyze historical and current help desk tickets to identify common issues and repetitive tasks.
- Use AI tools to categorize and prioritize incoming tickets.
- Suggest troubleshooting steps and draft responses for user support.
- Search and improve existing IT documentation and knowledge-base articles.
- Identify recurring problems and trends across the help desk.
- Evaluate opportunities to automate routine Tier 1 support activities.
- Assist with Tier 1 support tickets, workstation setup, and deployment.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding tasks.
- Perform hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Maintain equipment inventory and general IT documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Information Technology, Networking Administration, or Network Engineering degree program at an accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university.
- Preference for second-year technical college students or those with junior or senior status.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Ability to work year-round.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Part-time, paid internship.
- Schedule: Typically 20+ hours per week during the school year, with potential for full-time hours during breaks and summer.
