About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship focused on transportation and logistics services. You will work under supervision to support customer needs and gain a practical understanding of how our operations function. This role is open on a rolling basis for students looking to build experience in the transportation industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with customer transportation and logistics requests.
- Help with daily operational tasks, including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Participate in driver payroll, supervision, and maintenance coordination.
- Assist with logistics analysis and profit-and-loss management.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Perform account-specific tasks as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work hours.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
