About the role#
This internship provides exposure to transportation management principles within the intermodal sector. You will assist with daily operations and support the delivery of logistics services to our customers.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily operational tasks including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management, Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance, and maintenance coordination.
- Assist with driver payroll, driver supervision, and profit-and-loss management.
- Conduct logistics analysis and contribute to Customer Value Delivery.
- Learn about current industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Complete account-specific duties and other assignments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and a willingness to work flexible hours.
