About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to transportation management and logistics. You will work on-site in Salt Lake City during the summer of 2027. The program lasts 8-9 weeks and requires 20-25 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
You will support our team with transportation and logistics services for our customers. Your daily tasks will include planning freight, managing assets, and overseeing safety and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance. You will also gain experience with driver payroll, driver supervision, profit-and-loss management, and maintenance coordination. Throughout the program, you will analyze logistics, assist with Customer Value Delivery, and learn about industry trends related to driver retention. You will also handle account-specific duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Local candidates are preferred as relocation support is not provided.
