About the role#
The Legal Operations Intern joins the Office of the General Counsel to support internal systems, tools, and processes. This role assists with legal support functions including contracts, data privacy, governance, and risk mitigation. The internship runs from January 11 to April 9, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research.
- Coordinate projects and internal processes.
- Manage and analyze data.
- Support the implementation of data privacy practices.
- Assist with departmental and general administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of the internship.
- Prior experience through a professional internship or significant leadership in volunteer, campus, or community organizations.
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Interest in law, preferably supported by undergraduate coursework.
- Experience with project or process management is preferred.
- Candidates must hold a mature orthodox Christian faith.
Location & details#
- This position is based in the District of Columbia.
- Work can be performed fully in-person or in a hybrid format, with onsite days required on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- The role requires a commitment of 20 to 40 hours per week during standard business hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm EST.
- This is an unpaid volunteer position that provides a monthly stipend to help defray expenses.
