About the role#
Innovative Defense Technologies is hiring a Software Systems Engineer Intern to join the Missile Defense team in Arlington, Virginia. You will contribute to the development of automated test and analysis tools for tactical systems. This work supports DOD air and surface warfare platforms, including guided-missile destroyers, cruisers, and littoral combat ships.
What you'll do#
- Build automated test and analysis software for tactical subsystems.
- Develop project integration solutions.
- Create analysis capabilities for the Aegis Combat System.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, and subject matter experts to deliver mission-ready solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The position is based on-site in Arlington, Virginia.
