About the role#
This is a 16-week, full-time Co-Op position for undergraduate students. You will join our engineering teams to design, build, and test software that powers cloud, AI, and hybrid-platform solutions. You will work alongside experienced developers in an Agile environment to gain practical experience on real projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, development, testing, and debugging of software across front-end, back-end, or full-stack environments.
- Work with various programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, Go, Rust, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Build user interfaces using frameworks or contribute to back-end services and APIs.
- Use Git and other version-control and collaboration tools.
- Work with cloud and container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and REST APIs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Explore emerging technologies like AI/ML, automation, and cloud-native development.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with plans to return to school after the co-op.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 16 weeks during the Winter 2027 term.
- Availability to start a full-time role between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Coursework or project experience in software development.
- Familiarity with data structures, basic algorithms, and debugging.
- Exposure to front-end or back-end technologies, REST APIs, and databases.
- Experience with Git, cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines or automation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Personal or open-source projects that demonstrate initiative.
