About the role#
Innovative Defense Technologies is hiring Software Engineer Interns for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with technical teams to support the delivery of software for Department of Defense customers. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with technical teams using patented technologies.
- Develop and maintain software and systems engineering tasks.
- Contribute to projects involving automation, data analytics, and machine learning.
- Work with a tech stack including Java, PostgreSQL, Typescript, React, and Redux.
- Use Git for version control and Jenkins for automated pipelines.
- Deploy software on Kubernetes clusters across cloud and tactical environments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree program.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Location & details#
- This position is fully on-site.
- Available locations: Arlington, VA; Mount Laurel, NJ; or San Diego, CA.
- Pay rate: $28 to $34 per hour.
