About the role#
This internship provides students with hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle. You will join a product team to help build and improve cloud-based, database-driven software. This is a part-time position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside full-time Software Engineers to develop Java or Go applications.
- Apply software design concepts to projects currently in production.
- Estimate work requirements for your assigned tasks and meet those goals.
- Communicate with internal team members and external clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
- Experience writing code in Java, Go, or another object-oriented language.
- A major GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A portfolio of previous work or projects.
- Familiarity with web UI technologies like Angular, Vue, React, or Bootstrap is a plus.
