About the role#
The Advanced Human Resources Intern will partner with the HR team to support recruiting, employee engagement, campus relations, and strategic initiatives. This role provides exposure across the HR function and the opportunity to contribute to projects that drive business growth. The internship begins during the 2026-2027 academic year on a part-time basis and transitions into a full-time Summer 2027 internship. You will complete and present a capstone project to company leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Manage job postings and applicant tracking activities.
- Screen resumes and coordinate candidate interviews.
- Support candidate communication and interview logistics.
- Prepare onboarding materials and first-week plans.
- Assist with career fairs, campus events, and content creation.
- Develop relationships with student organizations and career services offices.
- Support surveys, pulse checks, and focus groups.
- Assist with culture and values aligned events and engagement programs.
- Evaluate AI tools for HR processes and build reusable templates, prompts, and workflows.
- Identify automation opportunities and measure their impact.
- Promote responsible AI use with attention to confidentiality and fairness.
- Research HR best practices and benchmark data to identify process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently a junior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Communications, or a related field.
- Available 15-20 hours per week during the school year and full-time during Summer 2027.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Self-motivated, curious, and willing to take initiative.
- Interest in AI, technology, software, and a high-growth business environment.
- Leadership experience in a student organization is preferred.
- Customer service and event planning experience is preferred.
