About the role#
As an Engineering Knowledge Management Intern, you will join our Global Engineering team for the summer of 2027. You will support initiatives to improve how technical knowledge is captured, organized, and shared across the engineering organization. This role provides exposure to process documentation and learning design while offering insight into the manufacturing processes and equipment used across our production sites.
What you'll do#
- Learn about our unit operations and business procedures.
- Assist in developing and refining documentation for engineering processes and standards.
- Create digital learning materials, including scripts, visuals, and interactive content.
- Interview subject matter experts to capture critical knowledge and best practices.
- Organize and maintain the knowledge repository to keep content current and accessible.
- Analyze usage data to recommend improvements to our knowledge-sharing tools.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Knowledge Management, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- If an undergraduate, you must have completed at least two years of coursework.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with digital content creation tools such as PowerPoint, Articulate, or SharePoint.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
