About the role#
This internship position within the Global Beverage Applications team offers hands-on experience in beverage formulation, product development, and analytical testing. You will support research projects by exploring ingredient technologies and formulation strategies during the summer of 2026. This role focuses on evaluating ingredient interactions and generating insights to meet customer needs.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on prior art, literature, and patents related to beverage projects.
- Perform laboratory experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to support project goals.
- Maintain clear, organized project records and communicate findings to team members.
- Present research outcomes and recommendations for future projects to management.
- Collaborate with laboratory colleagues and cross-functional teams to execute project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or biomedical sciences.
- Demonstrated laboratory research experience.
- Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written technical communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to the facility each workday.
- Current, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Please note that Ingredion does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
