About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site for 10 to 12 weeks, gaining practical experience by supporting real projects. You will work alongside landscape designers, architects, and other land development professionals to help meet project goals and client expectations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare exhibits, presentation graphics, and renderings.
- Assist with landscape, planting, and tree preservation plans.
- Conduct site visits and tree assessments.
- Perform research, calculations, and data entry for plans and reports.
- Contribute to concept and schematic landscape design.
- Prepare landscape sheets for entitlement drawing packages and site plans.
- Collaborate with the land development team while working within project budgets.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least 2 years of a Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA) or a related major, such as Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Graphic Design, or Business Administration.
- Strong interest in design consulting.
- Good graphic, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software, and BIM.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
