About the role#
As a Community Development Intern at ICCU, you will support the Community Development, Communications, and Events teams. This role provides hands-on experience in event production, business administration, and strategic partnerships. You must be eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Community Development team on various projects.
- Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of events.
- Maintain accurate records by updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventories.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting 70-80 pounds of equipment, standing for extended periods, and operating office machinery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or background in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Human Resources.
- A valid Driver’s License and the ability to tolerate extensive local travel.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
