About the role#
As a Technical Support Intern, you will work with global teams to resolve client product issues. You will gain hands-on experience with IBM software solutions while learning from industry experts. This role involves direct interaction with clients to ensure their success and helps you understand how IBM software functions within larger enterprise environments.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with global support and engineering teams to resolve client issues.
- Analyze diagnostics and recommend solutions for customers.
- Help clients optimize their product usage and educate them on best practices.
- Create and update knowledge base articles to share technical insights.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to suggest improvements to IBM solutions.
- Participate in proactive support tasks like upgrade planning and product adoption.
- Learn how clients use IBM software products as building blocks in real-world solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Fluency in English.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- A basic understanding of troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Exposure to programming languages such as Java or Python.
- An understanding of software development concepts and system integration.
